Welcome to TELC's classrooms. We have a total of 10 classrooms providing care for young children.
Morning Glory and Daffodil Classes: Both of the classes are our very youngest children. Children come to this room at around three months of age and remain until approximately twelve months of age. The two nursery classes are located in one large space that has been divided into two spaces. Each group has six children with two full time teachers. Children meet a large number of developmental milestones in these first months causing the classroom to evolve dramatically as the children age. Every effort is made to begin a group that is similar in age and for those children to remain together throughout their time with us.
Tulip and Sunflower Classes: These are our older babies and younger toddlers. The children moving from the Morning Glory and Daffodil classes come to the Tulips first and move on to the Sunflowers. The Tulip Class has eight children with two teachers while the Sunflower Class moves to twelve children with three teachers. These groups are exploding with independence and language.
Rose, Cherry Blossom and Magnolia Classes: These are our older toddlers and two's classrooms. Each class has twelve children with three full time teachers. Children in these rooms use language to make their wants and needs known, begin mastery of self help skills while beginning toilet training, use both large and small muscles to manipulate items in their environment such as crayons, markers, balls and tricycles.
Dogwood, Lily and Marigold Classes: These three classes are our preschool and pre-
