The Trinity Early Learning Center (TELC) is a non-profit child development program providing care to children from the age of eight weeks through 5 years. Located at Trinity Presbyterian Church, it has a current enrollment of 98 children in nine classrooms. TELC employs 27 staff members, and provides professional development and training opportunities for the staff.
TELC is one of the first early childhood programs to earn accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) -- the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals.

"We're proud to have earned the mark of quality from NAEYC and to be recognized for our commitment to reaching the highest professional standards," said Anne Hoffman, director for TELC. |
"NAEYC Accreditation lets families in our community know that children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences possible."
Serving a diverse population, TELC families come from 7 metropolitan counties, with 67% of the families living outside of the church's immediate neighborhood. Five different languages are spoken among the center's families in the home.
TELC is open all year, Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 6:00pm. The center is closed on the following days: New Year's Eve, New Years Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independance Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and two staff training days a year.
